That's good to know in terms of replanting it. Today I did a 5.45 airport run as a favour than fell back into bed. I hate that I have to pay £1 for a drop off. It's just one of those small charges that really gets me as there's no alternative. Apart from that and consuming brunch, little has been done bar two phone calls. The result of one is that I have a super organised friend coming on fri to structure my admin. She's also swinging by today to collect some raspberries.
I also faced down mr Wii and, to my shock, appear to have lost 1 lb. my target is 32 by end of feb so, that's it started. Just need to lose another 2 to get into the twenties after which it'll be to hit the first half stone. Anyhow, need to go get myself presentable. Things to do today include the cheapo cauliflower soup, cheapo carrot and coriander based on whoopsied stuff from yesterday and some more weeding. Who knows, I may even be treated to some contact from my offspring but, than again, probably not!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Today I tackled the plastic container cupboard of doom. Got rid of some lids for which there were no bottoms. Have now identified some soup containers. First batch of soup made and raspberries collected. Also, OH put five things on ebay. Fingers crossed that they go and bring in some pennies. I also identified a book to depart that may get us to minimum for music magpie so that's a job for tomorrow. We have the double bank holiday this week so I'd sooner get the books in transit pre that disruption.
Today I am grateful for

I'll let you know after lunch. It had to cool to be liquidised then reheated to finish off with cream so I decided to leave that bit until I was going to eat it. Today I am determined to hound a client to give me the remaining info needed to get a job done. It doesn't pay much but would address the first £500 repayment to my personal account which would more than meet the gap relating to monthly outgoings. I also need to provide a wedding present for a nephew in September so it would help with that.
Apart from that, both music magpie and pop master are musts today along with some laundry, etc. I might also make another batch of soup that could be tomorrow's lunch and could also go towards the freezer. As part of my grocery shop on Saturday, I bought the kitchen gloves needed to make use of oven cleaner so today I will get at least one oven sorted.
Will also visit sb and see what I can come up with while they have a double up offer on, thank you MSE for that.
Other things to do include avoiding the m&s sale preview as I don't have any gift vouchers to spend.
I'm determined to make both work and lifestyle (diet) in roads this week. If I also manage some decluttering, especially for money, so much the better.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Not the best of days. The soup was okish. Had a slightly dodgey tummy this morning so was a bit worried how it'd cope with the soup but that was ok. Today I hit 5 fruit and veg though portion size may not be great. Got some good news re big project.
Work wise, was considering a joint piece of work but other party pulled out and I can't go it alone. Got bad news about one friend going through chemo who has had to be hospitalised, not sure why. Was also contacted by another friend who has been for scans and has now been booked in for a biopsy. Gotta wonder sometimes why rotten things happen to nice people.
Having struggled to eat carefully all day, just had two pieces of ginger cake with a cuppa. I wasn't hungry just wanted something nice. Not sure why it was two slices though. Anyhow, today I'm struggling but am grateful for

Thanks beanie. You know, I look at people who are dealing with stuff and just getting on with things and just feel so completely worthless. Then I feel guilty for my pity party when there are so many worse off than me. Really wish I could sort my head out.
Anyhow, today I've to be at my sister's house for ten. We are going to a local credit union for me to open an account. Since leaving work, I have no life insurance cover. However, this credit union, and maybe others pays out £2k on death of a member provided they have a balance of at least £50. Also, they are running a draw each month to the end of the year for a cash prize. To be in this you have to recruit a new member or be a new member. My sister is a member so we might as well get entered into the draw as this was something I wanted to do anyway. There are also cost implications for big project so this will provide a separate pot of money especially as both our local banks closed recently so access to other branches are a car or bus ride away.
Today OH should have an early finish and our plan is to get home, close the door and wait for bonfire related madness to pass. While I hate not seeing DS on his birthday, he was never really able to celebrate it here due to tribal happenings.
I've decided that I will chase up a potential client. At best, it'll show them I'm interested and move things along. At worst. I'll know that that ship has sailed. Either option is preferable to sitting waiting.
Lunch is unlikely to be a soup day as I may be at my sister's for that.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
