I guess we will find out on Monday if the winding up went ahead

    Oh I do hope so!

I just passed one of their sham wardens putting on his scruffy hi viz vest, I was going to suggest he didn't bother as hopefully he won't get paid next week lol!

    Here's the list:

    http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists/list-companies-winding-up

    #70 is UKPC.

Just as an aside - which appealed to my sense of humour - there are 10 companies being wound up that have 'Solutions' as part of their title.

As Jim Royle would say 'solution my *rse'. :D
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I am no expert but isn't it a case of if it's got to this stage it is basically a rubber stamp job anyway?

A bit like their appeals process, you had your chance to appeal now it's too late! :rotfl::rotfl:

Looking back at their last published accounts at Companies House they seem to be in dispute with Revenue & Customs over a VAT claim, which the accountants seem to feel they had a good case to put forward, and had made no provision for in the 2015/16 accounts.

Hopefully this has come to haunt them two years on, and will no doubt have become a bigger millstone round their ugly necks!

Good spot, maybe HM Revenue are treating UKPC as a contractor/(agent) rather than the principal; so that they will have to account for VAT on their turnover.

Nope, failing any statement by the BPA or someone in the know, if an order has been made there will be another notice in the London Gazette in the next few days.

I don't know how receptive the court would be to someone ringing. I'm not able to but somebody might try.
