Hello
Newbie here after a bit of guidance.
Received a postal ticket from CPM for parking on private land whilst working. Didnt realise it was private, as was on land which appeared to be part of premises where I was working.
I've read through newbie's thread and understand my first point of contact is appeal to CPM, who have only provided a PO box address, so all has to be done in writing.
I didnt realise that appeals in writing had to be done within 21 days of day after notice was issued (21 days expired yesterday)
Should I now wait for next letter from CPM, and then proceed? as assume that as appeal window has now past, no point in writing to them?

Send the initial appeal in anyway to show you have entered the process of trying to sort this out (use the IPC template in the NEWBIES sticky).
It will be rejected, thereafter ignore everything short of a LBC or real court papers. Appealing further to the IAS is not recommended (as outlined in the sticky). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The direction to go for all advice on dealing with a lbcca and court claims is the newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum
Concentrate on #2 there.0 -

Have read through #2 and although that case is different to mine, am I ok to copy and paste Daniel san's template?
My latest letter is a LBC from Gladstones with ref. starting with a 1....
I was parked in an communal area behind flats where there was a row of garages {belonging to flats) and a few allocated parking bays
At the end of garages was a chainlink fence seperating area from private property next door.
I now realise that the last garage must have been sold to this property, making land in front of this garage private property belonging to next door.
I was working in flats, & had parked in allocated bays (legally)for couple of days. On third day there were no spaces, so reversed up to area against chainlink fence, being careful not to block any access, leaving a note in windscreen area , saying which flat was working in, and my phone no., just in case
Finished work, and left (no PCN on windscreen) and received PCN through post with photo evidence of my van backed up against fence, with warning signs behind van, which I had not seen as van has no rear windows or rear view mirror.
I appealed and got standard response, and then further letters and phone calls from debt collection agency (DRP) which I ignored.0 -

Did you not know about the court claim ??0 -
Unfortunately, it would seem the claim letter came , and no-one told me, so wasnt responded to.
Does this mean that I now have no option other than pay? or can I maybe say claim letter was never received?0
