So yes and no is the answer to that. It can be done on 50%, and all that will be needed is a few rebels to ensure it happens.

With Labour on course to be 5 from a majority under the last poll, I can see it happening very soon.

An election this year is a 31% chance according to betfair, and that is just this year, there could also be one next year.

There can be a call for a vote of no confidence (in the gov's ability to govern), in which case parliament would vote, and if the Tories lost that vote, then there would be another general election. That would become even more likely if the Tories lost a few bi-elections.

There will be an election this year and Labour will easily win a majority.

This Tory-DUP thing cannot and won't succeed. Nobody wants to upset the NI peace process. May not thinking about that and rushing in to do a deal was quite reprehensible.

If you think so, you should take the 9/4 available right now on betfair, and that is just for another general election (i.e. Labour wouldn't even have to win it).
