Good afternoon
I haven't been on here much as work has been sooooo busy.
I haven't done a great deal either. However I can log 4 NSDs in a row - somewhat of a record for me. (4pts)
So far today we have loaded the car in preparation for tomorrow's tip run and popped into Wilk0's and picked up a bundle of cheap bulbs - rhubarb, etc for 50p. Littlest DS wants to plant them in a little while. (1pt)
A couple of quid has been popped into the holiday pot (1pt) and aside from that we haven't done much. Must try to fit in a run with the dog at some point over the next 24 hours, but we are slightly hanging today after last night's celebrations. So I definitely didn't hit that one this week and have to make more of an effort. Meanwhile I am finally flopped on the sofa with a glass of red (trying hair of the dog) and project trying to relax is underway.Onwards and upwards with the occasional kick up the butt required!
Mortgage '09 = £103k Feb '17 =£79.9k, Aug 17 = £69k Mar 19 = £61k

It's really okay to have a bit of slow week, I had like 3 of those weeks last month!
Take it slow any small progress is progress hun!
I have -
Checked my bank out 3 days in a row (3pts)
Turn off lights & plugs on things don’t need to use / aren’t using (3pts)
Stop buying £3+ meal deals, sweets, magazines , drinks and coffee out (4pts) I did buy a drink one day... I was having a downer and didn't have a water bottle for the day.
Buy lunch and home items in bulk (1pt)
Had 1 more No spend day
today me & the boyfriend gave unpacking the living room a go and managed to sort out 2 boxes. It's really hard right now as some stuff are our collections and so we need to see if we can put up shelving.
I also lost my phone on tuesday and so will be paying £209 to end my contract....
as there is another cheaper contract I wish to go on:
+ No upfront cost for the phone
+ Unlimited Minutes
+ Unlimited Texts
+ 30 GB Data
+ 24 Month Contract
£43.79
per month £44.00
before cashback
and i get the new Samsung 8 phone
So yeah it's expensive but its one of those where its a lot of money to save more money in the long run. I pay £50.63 currently a month.
I also spoke to someone from MoreThan Home insurance as I had 2 letters come through with different billing amounts and wanted to clarify why. Basically They set me up with 2 home contents covers one for £5.25 and the other for £6.13, they cancelled the £6.13 policy.
so All Is going good and well.Home Deposit: £100.61|BULSFund: £50.00|EmergencyFund: £89.76 | Retirement: 5.21| Xmas 17:£10.00 |July NSD:1 / 150 -
Got NSD 3 yesterday and spent the day at home so that's 4 points including making sure things were turned off when we were out of our free time hours.0

Well done , Ceb1995! Good progress.
Yesterday & today :
Stop buying £3+ meal deals, sweets, magazines , drinks and coffee out (1pt)
Buy lunch and home items in bulk(1pt)
Turn off lights & plugs on things don’t need to use / aren’t using (1pt)
Check your bank account(s) each day (1pt)
Today I've crossed off receipt as we used up the main food stuff, last week we had to buy things like herbs and oil etc... so not all can be crossed off and we still got a lot left over. Today we only brought things like fresh food & lunch items we ran out of. (1pt)
= 5pts
Me & my boyfriend are meal planning... he's actually the one who plans the meals as he's the one who cooks. He'll ask what we have or look at the list from last weeks shop & see what easy recipes he can do that doesn't involve a lot of new ingredients
I do my share by doing most of the housework... I actually enjoy doing the house work when he plays his computer games with his friends - I find it keeps my mind off feeling homesick / lonely away from home (by this i mean, I miss my dog, my sister and just times where i see my nan when she comes around for tea + games , me & the MR has a really good funny and amazing relationship but im not used to living away from parents)Home Deposit: £100.61|BULSFund: £50.00|EmergencyFund: £89.76 | Retirement: 5.21| Xmas 17:£10.00 |July NSD:1 / 150 -
Cheers DT. We finally got round to planting the spuds. toms, leeks etc. So that is (1pt) The spuds were hard work in that I chose to plant them in a patch that is normally filled with weeds and ivy, but they will help to break down the soil. DS3 enjoyed sowing seeds too. So he is happy.
We've spent the day cooking, swimming and at the tip. So we have had a bit of a clear out. All is good in the hood. Happy weekend one and all xOnwards and upwards with the occasional kick up the butt required!
