Does John Lewis TV Guarantee start on order or dispatch?

I've got it at £600.
Ye, 5 year guarantee, just wanted to get confirmation before i ordered is all so I know my rights and whether I should wait to order or just get it now.
Your 'rights' are entirely dependent on what JL specify.
A warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and can have it's own terms.0 -
@peachyprice thanks, have you had any experience or just know that's how it works?
I bought a TV last year, a dishwasher last week and a printer last week, all three had the guarantees emailed to me shortly before or after they were delivered.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

It will almost certainly be unavailable in 6 months time. They won't hold it for you in the warehouse for 6 months.0

OP have they told you they will let you purchase now and deliver in 6 months time? I, like others don't think they will store it for you,and tech changes fast so unlikely to still be available and if it is it may be cheaper still.0

I answered the question asked

If you want it that much, buy it now and keep all the packing to use when you move house.0
-
That won't extend the warranty though...Silvertabby wrote: »buy it now and keep all the packing to use when you move house.0 -
That wouldn't be a problem - OP will have use of the tv/warranty cover from the date of delivery.“ buy it now and keep all the packing to use when you move house.
