Vacuums are not supposed to be bashed into furniture????
I think my Dyson is rubbish, but it certainly withstands furniture bashing!!
If a vacuum broke from being knocked info furniture I would say it was of a very poor design or poor quality material.
I'm not saying they shouldn't withstand it, however, it's the equivalent of driving over a pothole and blaming your car for breaking.
They are not meant to bash into furniture. They are meant to vacuum your carpet.
Put it this way, my furniture is worth more than my vacuum. I'd rather my vacuum broke than my furniture.
I do however have a henry which is a tank.0 -
The real question is are there a lot of reports about Shark cleaners being brittle? If you can't find many true life cases then their is no case, if it's common then there is.
Accidental damage is not covered by anyone, so start looking for the evidence to back your claim.0 -
Can you post up a pic of the damage?
I think one bit of it has cracked which has then made the wheel fall off. Definitely brittle. I'll have a go at posting a picture later.
You must have given it a bit of a wack to produce the damage you've posted about, I can't see the odd minor bump would do this.
My furniture stands on metal legs...0 -
I paid on credit card. Don't they cover accidental damage within one hundred days?..0

My name is Bagby and I am a furniture basher. Sounds awful.

Doesn't matter if it's not on your agreement? Check for agreement, not what the internet says 'many cards' have.0
