Are orange sorry EE taking the wee wee
Been with them since god was a lad and for an S7 the best they can do is £35 a month yet the same deal on mobiles.co.uk is £25
Both as an upgrade,
I don’t get how the likes of CPW can other better deals?
I wont be changing phones until the S7 drops more in price so can I call EE’s bluff and ask for my PAC code and wait a day to see if they offer me a better deal as I don’t really want to leave EE?
Thanks
Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.

It's because you won't leave that they charge you a high rate...once you get to retentions, the discounts appear.
Upgrades are never competitive, you'll do better to start a new contract and port the number out and back.
But if you don't want a new phone yet anyway, why not go for a SIM only deal on a 1 month contract?
If you want to stay with EE, there are plenty of MVNO's that run on it, but cheaper.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I get the impression that they've been told not to try too hard any more.

I called at the start of the week to upgrade my sim only for more data. Was offered nothing worth having when you look at the likes of 3. Got my pac and waited for retentions to call. . . after less than 3 hours they call and all they can offer me is an iPhone contract for 4 times what I'm paying now!!!
I was told I could give the iPhone to my wife??? Pardon, pay 4 times what I am now for a phone I don't want on a 24 month contract? Oh, and my wife has just bought a new iPhone 6 anyway, which I told them and they came back with, 'Well, she can sell that and have this one.'

They have clearly lost the plot and don't care any more. . .

Op if you are going to keep your mobile port your number to plusnet and get a sim-only 1mth contract have a look at the link below.
    https://www.plus.net/mobile/plans/sim-only

They are owned by BT which owns EE and Plusnet.

The offer for 5 g for £10 a month is very tempting. I realize that Plusnet are owned by BT, but has their service gotten any better? I remember horror stories when they first started up!!
