    why did they cancel the insurance?? Not keeping up with payments?

    I am still trying to figure out how reversing into someone is not the fault of the driver. Luckily it was not a child, a nun, a puppy, a kitten or any combination of the above.

    as you couldn't see the vehicle you reversed into you'd struggle to win any arguement that they were moving

    It does sound entirely your fault, the accident and lack of insurance

    the lack of insurance may well end up more costly

    for the future, proximity detectors and reversing cameras are very cheap these days and readilly self fitted, they also my reduce the cost of your insurance a little, it did mine.

    If it was a private car park, as you say, you may not need insurance cover.

    The only way your car can be uninsured is if it's SORNed

    you may have saved a few hundred but you will end up losing 1000's. The gambling doesn't pay off ever

    There are thousands of vehicles, operating on private land, that are neither insured nor sorned.
    The offence of using an uninsured vehicle on a public road is totally different to the offence of being the registered keeper of an uninsured vehicle.
