Virgin1-Launching 1st October on Freeview, Virgin Media and digital satellite

VIRGIN 1

Virgin 1 is Virgin Media Television’s brand new general entertainment channel and the first to be branded under the iconic Virgin banner. As with all things Virgin, the UK’s newest channel will be bold, honest, modern and refreshing. Put simply, it's proper telly.


Virgin 1 will be available on Freeview, Virgin Media and digital satellite. EPG numbers will be Freeview 20, Virgin Media 122 and digital satellite 153.

on freeview as well eh... I thought it was thier way of saying stuff skyone we can make our own version cheaper, but it would be to virgin media subscribers.. hmmm guess on freeview could be good.

But once again another channel is lost (in this case FTN) just as 4+1 replaced Film 4 +1

It may be better than FTN but why can't we have extra channels on Freeview?

abc1 aint that bad FTN may move, things like that have happened before what you have to think about is that when Film4+1 was replaced, it was Channel 4s decision to replace it rather than whoever is in charge of setting channel numbers to channels on freeview

Could they not get rid of one of the crappy shopping channels, or the TV TopUp disaster?

TV TopUP = TV RipOff, I paid for DD to watch the cartoon network, I knew it was reduced times but then when it should be on the picture or the sound would be missing. Then it took days to be able to get someone on the phone to cancel. Avoid!! New channel from Virgin sounds good though.

abc1 was alright - shame it was only on during working hours. ftn won't be missed. nuts tv should disappear (and it will very soon i'm guessing). virgin1 will be good though.

and don't forget, we're getting uktv g2... erm... sorry... dave channel soon too! :rotfl: that does look good.

abc1 was my favorite channel, I loved hope & Faith

I don't recognise any of these programs that Virgin 1 will be showing. They look like FTN rejects!
