Hi All
I purchased 2 x 2 seat sofas & a pouffe from Harveys almost 4 weeks ago. One recliner & one static.
The recliner where hubby sits for around 4 hours per evening has become very loose & creased. He is 14.5 stone.
The static one is not so bad but maybe would be if he used it. It does seen did stretch & level wrinkle easily. It's where I sit , I am 10.5 stone.
I would like to put a picture on to show what I am talking about but don't know how to.
I have had leather sofas in the past & they have never stretched this badly.
Am I within my rights to ask for it to be inspected?
TIA

Can't help with the sofa other than to say I'll never use Harveys again.0 -
Thank you AndyMc, I have managed some images.0

We are not happy with the quality of it. It's their Prezzo range, it was not cheap! Have you had a bad experience with Harvey's?0

Thank you for your reply.
Over time we would have expected some movement but not so soon. It will look very old very quickly at this rate.0 -

Wow, that has lasted beautifully. I wish I had known there was a difference..0 -
Unfortunately you do get what you pay for with leather sofas. £750 for a three seater leather sofa (whilst expensive to you as an individual) is bottom end budget. They are for purchasers who are happy to purchase new furniture every 3-5 years.
You need to at least double, preferably triple this figure, to get something which will be like the photo after 16 years.
Your only option is to complain, but expect to be fobbed off.0 -

I actually paid almost 2.5 k for the 3 items. Scary thought to need to double or treble that to get something that may last more than 3-5 years.
I wish I'd have looked for a better quality pre owned one now.
I think you're right in saying I would probably be fobbed off if I complained.0
