Home & Contents Insurance

I am currently looking for home and contents insurance for our first house, so I am ready for when we exchange.
However, we have over £10K of valuables I need to specify, in and away from the home, including a £3K handbag.
My bag is insured, along with everything in it, at the minute on my parents house insurance, but I am struggling to find an insurance company where a bag is an option to specify. Our other items are easy as it is just jewellery.
Can anyone help with a good company? I have got a quote from More Than at the minute for around £200 a year, which seems amazing, but as I am new to this, I have my doubts!
Thanks!

hiscox, chubb for example are the premier house insurance companies who can cover high value goods, have a look at them, maybe cashback through the cashback websites"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Do you live with your parents? If not then your handbag isn't covered on their policy.
The handbag is likely something you'd have to phone an insurer about.0
