Ah if it helps i have exact same thing, we took the downstairs clinker wall out, with BC notified. We had a SE for other stuff and asked advice while he was here. The only possible problem that could have happened was the beam holding upstairs up, may possibly twist.
In two years that hasn't happened.

We now have a huge kitchen diner, instead of tiny kitchen and huge dining room.
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

I had intended to post a pic but unfortunately it is ridiculously complicated to do it on this forum.:(
Go to http://zippyshare.com/ (no registration required), Click BROWSE and navigate to the pic you'll have on your SD card or PC hard drive . Select it then click 'open' at the foot of the box it appears in, which prepares it for uploading. Click orange upload button on Zippy then wait for it to generate a list of URLs. Copy one onto the yellow icon on MSE and.......well it used to work! Can anyone help?
You can at least post a link directly to your pic on Zippy by bypassing this yellow box and just copy & paste the AltForum URL, which displays thus:

    file.html
although you need to copy the whole string, not just the bit starting [img .

It might be easier to have someone film you knocking this wall down and then upload it to utube; that'd be much more entertaining for us, too :)
