O2 500 texts - £15 top up
Hello all
Today I topped up my PAYG O2 sim by £15 to receive 500 free texts. However having checked my balance by texting 'Balance' to 20202, I only have received 300 texts. I contacted CS who said it always shows as 300 texts initially and that the balance will update within 48 hours. However the guy I was speaking to, didn't exactly fill me with confidence! COuld anyone confirm what he told me?

The same thing happened to me the last time I topped up my O2 PAYG phone with £15, though the allowance did adjust itself after a day or so to the 500 messages.

I spoke to O2 yesterday as a new PAYG customer
He said that if you have 500 or 1000 texts it intially tops up 300 and the remainder will be 24 hours later so he was being truthful.0
