Oh no. You can't use kitchen foil as a substitute for bog rolls.
    Don't believe me? Try it.

Maybe I'll try it on the cat first.

A decent stock of bog rolls wouldn't go amiss.

A merely adequate stock of bog rolls and learning how to wipe commando-style (with one sheet) would be better. Then fill the space saved with more diesel.

Use a stick. Then burn the stick. ;)

The cat may not be thrilled to be used in lieu (loo?) of bog roll....

    Stocks Markets love Wars

Well depends on what you own. If you own the market, you stand to gain and lost at the same time which mean you are buying IN with life!

If it happens, take the opportunity to buy more stock, after all, we'll still consume Coca-Cola and wash our clothes! In answer to the OP's actual question though, not sure if now is the time to buy, as markets are very strong, but if your view is very long term, it shouldn't matter, just put some aside to buy if the worse happens.

He was wrong. Without a reasonably technologically advanced civilization wars would remain localized, as was the case prior to WW1. If WW3 was nuclear, then it's back to local wars with "sticks and stones", till we get it together again, and then the next world war would be conventional, just like WW1 was.
