Hi , I have booked a holiday through barrhead travel but havent paid for any luggage now I want to add luggage on does anyone know how much barrhead travel charge for extra luggage (15kg) ive been told between £30-£50 which seems ridiculous! Thanks

Was it Barrhead Travel who told you £30-50? That sounds a bit vague to me, but you haven't said whether you're travelling by air or some other method - the transport operator (Barrhead is just an agent, IIRC) will have a scale of charges and it's possible that Barrhead would add a small charge for making an amendment to your booking.

Yes they told me that price , yes im travelling by air they cant give me an exact price this just just guesses! Surely if it is a thomas cook flight i would pay their prices ?

Looking at the Thomas Cook site the amount of checked baggage allowance appears to vary so you have to enter your booking reference to get the details. Presumably that is where you'd see the cost of the additional baggage you're enquiring about.

I would expect you to pay whatever Thomas Cook charges, with the possibility of a Barrhead Travel admin charge on top. Get back onto them and insist on a firm quote!

Ok thanks my tickets have just been released today so I will question this issue when im in store had nothing but hassle ever since booking with barrhead travel just seem not interested once they have your money!
