'Those guys are all low functioning'
'The girls aren't attractive'
You are high functioning but: cannot cook, cannot get a job, cannot get a girlfriend, struggle to do household tasks, struggle with controlling your emotions and actions.
At least these 'low functioning fellas' on the programme are doing something.
I work with some high functioning autistic people. They have some issues with interacting with others which comes across shy and a little awkward, but they all have jobs requiring a lot of intelligence. Drive to work. Have work relationships and private relationships Manage to overcome and interact to hold meetings. People understand their issues and help them but they are not pandered to. One man hates dealing with new people and finds it awkward, so he is the one that has to go greet people for the meetings, to get him interacting with more new people. When he has a bad day he doesn't have to, but most of the time he does.
That is high functioning. Not just thinking 'I'm not as bad as them'
You should always find someone you find physically attractive, however you have to find 'your level' I find Chris Pine attractive, but, I know my level
Actually with the household tasks i am getting better at them now so i don't struggle as much as i used to. And that description of shy and awkward is exactly what i am like and i would hate being pandered to. I would also feel that if i went onto the undateables i would be taking away the place of someone who actually needs it more0 -

Hello,
My brother is autistic and he really struggled with interviews (not making eye contact/body language etc) so he took on some volunteer work in a small charity shop for 6 months and built up some history of being committed to a job role and gain a great reference. He now has a part time job in poundworld and secures loads of overtime to keep his wages up.
Have you also thought about enrolling as an apprentice? It probably wont be until September now but that give you time to consider what you want to do and prepare for interviews.
hope this helps :-)
You see something like that would be great, a part time job in poundland would be great but again i tried there and they were not looking for any people. I want to go back to college next year to get my qualifications up and also because i started on Entry 3 skills for working life so moving on to a Level 3 course would be a big achievement for me with me knowing i can actually do it0 -
Could you. It do a level 3 course in an academic qualification or are you not able to?

Life is about creating yourself.”
