    Morning everyone,

Happy Birthday Dumpling hope you have a lovely day and positive vibes for your DD as she starts her meds.
Thinking of you TA as others have said please look after yourself too.
    Ouch on the shoulder TRU

Bright sunny start to the day but bbrr cold, as always we had the bedroom window open a bit last night and I have woken up with a stiff neck this morning, don't think it helped that I struggled to sleep last night, think it was the moon!
Hope to get all the wooden floors cleaned today but obviously need to move a lot of furniture first, will take it easy and see how it goes.

Have a good day everyone x

So many folk unhappy at the moment, hope you all feel better soon. I'm fed up not feeling well so have a Drs appt at 11.30, miracle I got an appt!

Weather not quite so good today but dry for now. Got loads of washing dried outside yesterday, my dressing gown smells lovely!

Have a good day, take care. XX

Morning all and a very happy birthday to Dumpling.

The sun is shining here so I have some washing in the machine ready to be hung out when it's finished. Mind you DH is taking his car to have something checked as he's had a recall notice on it and I'm meeting a former work friend for coffee so I don't think it will be hung out until much later. I've only had one cup of tea so far and no breakfast as the place I'm going to does nice bacon rolls so I'll have something to eat there and that will count as lunch as well!

Our Roger also didn't turn up to do the garden yesterday so that was most of an afternoon wasted hanging about. He did phone early evening to explain so we'll see what happens next.

    Enjoy your day
  • Morning everyone,

Spanish lesson last night was hard. Getting my head round the male/female verbs. Practise makes perfect.

I also went to my new flat to take measurements. The lady who is selling has half packed away her stuff so beginning to look less of a home and more of a shell. I'll do the maths today to make sure the furniture on my shortlist fits.

Tonight I've got badminton with the family. It's been a while so I'm looking forward to it. Been to the gym this morning and also got a class at lunch time in work, so by the end of the night I'll be knackered.

Hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday :)

Dumpling - Happy birthday and many, many happy returns.
TA - Thinking of you, hope today goes well.
Camelot - Good luck today, hope you feel better soon
Judi - In response to yesterdays post, no tips. Just luck. Biggest win I've ever had!

. I would have had salad too but they'd eaten everything except a bit of lettuce so I'm probably going to get scurvy now.

:rotfl::rotfl:You really make me laugh, I love your humour :D

    Morning all,

Nice bright sunny day here again but still cold in the mornings and evenings, I have my work uniform in the wash and will hang it out after.

Its my day off today and then I go back for two days and then I am off for a week, cant come quick enough for me I need a break.

Today I am going to do an online shop for Thursday, and I am going to take little Evie out for a walk, either over the fields which is a longer walk but we probably wont see any of her friends, or over the park which is usually teeming with dog friends for her to play and run with.

House can have a quick flick over the rest can wait till the weekend till the others are here to help (its their mess too :D )

Dumpling :bdaycake: Have a very Happy Birthday my lovely xxx

    Morning everybody,

:bdaycake::bdaycake:Happy Birthday Dumpling, hope you have a lovely day, sounds like you've been spoiled already but you deserve it.Hope the meds do the trick for DD and she feels better in herself.

I haven't got DGS today as his Mum is off work this week,so wondering what to do with myself today, might have a bus ride somewhere,& I need to buy 3 Easter eggs :icotbaske .Seems a luxury to have the day completely to myself :rotfl:

Think I'll be making chicken curry for tea,if its defrosted in time.Bit of a hodge podge last night,we all had different meals due to using stuff from the freezer.
LW in case you didnt see my reply last night late on I'll quote my own post:rotfl:
LW- I always think anything that might help is worth trying.I made the paste, here's the recipe that I used, basically as Elona has said already. You need to add the black pepper to metabolise the turmeric properly.I add a little honey to my milk and find it quite pleasant really :)

Tru-I did look at supplements but they looked a bit pricy :o

Looks cool and windy out,but pooch needs her walk-its safe to go out for her,the bin men have been and gone and taken their scary wagon with them :D

Good luck for today TA xx

Just hung two washloads out for DD and emptied her DW and tidied the kitchen, and youngest DGS Mikey has just made me a nice cuppa bless him.
The weather here is very nice at the moment so I may take the boys down to the country park this afternoon as a good walk along the river medway will make a nice change followed by perhaps a cuppa and an ice cream at the end :)Just put some cakes into the oven that Mikey made as he enjoys doing a bit of baking.

TA hope all goes OK for you and your OH, look after yourself though as well

Have a lovely day, you deserve it. :bdaycake::bdaycake: I hope your daughter starts to feel better soon.

Having a lazy morning but need to do a quick tidy round before going out to see a friend , look at what has been done to her bungalow and then visit a crafter's society to see if there is something simple we can do to help.

We leave for a holiday on Thursday so I will need to start to pack later, have already got euros and looked out passport etc.

    TA

You must be shattered with trying to coordinate all the appointments, travel and instructions apart from the worry and stress and waiting about. Can you do something relaxing even if only for half an hour?

    Hugs to all

  • Afternoon ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

Still feeling very fragile, OH has been very quiet. I did get the mower sorted yesterday, front and back lawns have been cut.

Town this morning to do a bit of needed shopping, ashamed to say that 4 plants found their way into my basket. Mind you one of them is for my quilting friend, going to see her on Friday.

Beef and bean stew for supper.
