Probably the best technical written boiler website I have ever seen.0 -
They are all made from cheap Chinese steel and designed to fall apart just after the warranty is up.0

Most modern boilers must be pretty good judging by the number of different recommendations! Someone above said "wouldn't touch Ideal with a bargepole". Elsewhere on more specialised forums than this I have read they are far better than most having metal parts and stainless steel heat exchangers. Also the easiest and cheapest to service and have a ten year parts and labour warranty! So you really can't tell what is best but it is generally thought that WOrcester Bosch are good but over priced and over rated as they a household name and so most people have them and defend them with no real comparison. Just saying, no experience to back any of this up.0

Ideal used to have many issues with their previous generation of boilers but they are a very different picture now. Though the brand snobs will tell you otherwise.0

The new ideals are just as bad as previous generations, they haven't made a decent boiler since the Mexico or classic....terrible customer service just tops it off.0
