Are you sure you didn't sign up for Amazon Prime trial by mistake? ;)

Judging by the posts on here it seems to catch a lot of people out.

OP states they selected Super Saver Delivery.

My deliveries tend to be within 48 hours, something I ordered last night is being delivered tomorrow. Great service.
  • I love Amazon. Order a great deal, rarely have a problem and generally things arrive quicker.
I just wish they would pay more tax so I would not feel so guilty:)

Lol that was my first thought but double checked and estimated delivery was 12 - 15 April - apparently just very quick service :)

Yes, and so do a lot of posters who then find they've 'somehow' signed themselves up for Prime.
That thought also occurred to the OP.

On Friday I ordered £14 worth of pet food from them at lunchtime and it arrived at supper time.

Ordered a £3 item yesterday and it's arriving today.

I have shelled out £59 for prime, but it is an amazing service.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I think Amazon are the best and lovliest company in the cosmos.
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

It's really worrying that a company of that size and with those economies of scale are concentrating on getting bigger rather than making profits. Once they have killed off the opposition, things will get really expensive.

Nevertheless, their delivery service is really impressive!

I admit to being a fan of Amazon.

I am disabled and cannot get out to the shops....I love being able to order from Amazon and have the goods arrive so promptly.

I 'share' a Prime membership with my mother....and as well as the next day delivery on most items, I get film, TV and music content ...well worth the subscription to me.

I do agree with the comment that it would be nice of Amazon paid their whack for taxes...on the other hand they ARE technically within the law, so who can really blame them?

That's because those posters are stupid and are just in denial about signing up for anything!
