May be not strictly the correct route, but I've found it better to go via the manufacturer. Eg Apple exchanged a faulty phone instantly in an Apple store when I had one on a 3 contract,

Same with LG - had to faff a bit on their site to register it, but once sent off, I got it back repaired within a few days

OK, thanks. But I can't believe Which? are providing erroneous information. They are 100% reputable?

Sounds like Which is basing the information as if the network had supplied the phone ?

It appears that the Which? information is incomplete and misleading as it does not seem to take into account if you had purchased and been supplied a phone ON CONTRACT from a third-party retailer such as MPD or Carphone Warehouse, rather than direct from Three on their website or at a store.

If you'd purchased the handset directly with Three you'd contact them in terms of your faulty handset.

As Mobile Phones Direct are the supplier it's them you'd need to organise a replacement with.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

I can't believe this thread has run for so many replies. A call to Three from the OP would receive a quick answer...
