Thank you poor single lady and hidden identity. Dd is a lot better today. Still kept her home as she was wheezy over night and looked so tired.

Just a quick post as on my phone, will catch up properly when I can get on the laptop.

Nothing to update with the debt. Need to fetch some bread milk and cat litter on way to work. Looks like a bomb has gone off here and got the man out to fit the new meters tomorrow, will have to be an early start.

Right better go get ready for work.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to post Doobop.

Not much again today, will pay the CC while i'm on the laptop though.

Shopping yesterday ended up at £25! £10 was dd on a journal for writing all the leavers messages in and an exam pencil set. I remember her first day, can't believe she finishes in 3 weeks. Weve spent the afternoon setting up her facebook page, she has always wanted to do photography but we talked her out of doing it at college and to keep it as a hobby. We bought her a camera at Christmas and some of her pictures are fantastic so I think she has decided to ask at her college interview if she can change course, She was going to do law and phycology (that's defiantly not spelt right) but it wasn't something she wanted to do.

Today dh had some beers from the shop not sure how much he spent, need to check.

We had smart meters fitted today, the gas one doesn't seem to be working so need to ring them tomorrow.. Electric, we have used £1.60 since about 12 when they went in!! Kids said 'that's not much' told them to think about it, thats almost £600 a year just on electric! £100 of which could be just form the tv that is on constant all day as they have to have it on even if no one is watching it. They only watch music channel, thinking radio will be a lot cheaper.

Just paid £100 to CC. That's £492 paid to debt this month already. So depending on any bits of interest I should make the 4% paid off make in month 2.

    Amazing amount paid off!

Radio is definitely cheaper to power and you can get DAB radios as cheap as £10 on the outlets on ebay etc. Not sure where else or if anywhere is cheaper, I just know my mum asked me to order her one for work x

    Thank you.
I'm going on a hunt, we bought a cheap 1 for our holiday last year, i bet it's still in the holiday bags in the loft, sure I could use dd's ipod to stream from amazon too, we use the films but have never used the music or books. Seeing it on the screen has made me realise how much we use (I knew it was a lot but seeing it in figures seemed to make it sink in).

Suppose I better go to bed, DH went at half 8!

Quick post as on my phone. Internet switched supplier this evening and I don't have the energy to walk back down for the new password to use laptop.

Dh defrosted the fridge/freezer today and the camping fridge we use while doing it has packed in too, luckily should be paid before if needs doing again and order a new one.

Been to work and fetched a few bits on way out, toilet roll and drain unblocker and some snacks and Apple juice for the kids tomorrow as I'll leave for work before dh gets up, was about 18, will need to check. Dh filled car up on way home and that was about £80 but it hasn't been done since beginning of April.

Rang about smart meter as has still not showing, it can take up to 2 weeks. Electric yesterday was £1.73 today was at £2.05 when I came up to bed. I've had to put the dryer on so it will go up a bit.

Started clearing the utility room today, 3 dog food sacks of clothes thrown out and probably about 15 loads of washing that had been done but need doing again because I really am useless at housekeeping. Most of it's bedding so going in the dryer. Absolutely nothing to sell in there yet.

Afternoon. Enjoying the peace. DD1 has taken the other 4 for a walk to the park with a picnic while I cleaned up.... I haven't moved off the sofa! They've been gone over an hour and it's been throwing it down for most of that so probably have some soggy, cold kids any time now.

No change on the debt/bills although first new internet payment is due at same time as old one next week so need to check there is enough to cover both in the bills account.

Today should be a NSD but if it's still throwing it down I might catch the bus to work. Need to check freezer and then i'm going to meal plan for next week!! and try to stick to it! Then i'll do a shopping order for tomorrow. I've also got £5 bonus to use at icel@nd in the next 2 weeks. It's supposed to be a fantastic week so might nip in to get ice lollies with it.

Need to remind DS it's his birthday In 2 weeks and some ideas would be useful, he's the hardest to buy for, he hates spending money! I think it'll be ps4 subscription thing and a new game. He's desperate for clothes but doesn't have all the named stuff so might manage to get him quiet a bit from primarny or from work tonight as 25% off clothes this weekend and I have a £5 off 25 spend voucher too.
