working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • Ah, well, that is some loaded enquiry! I could lie and say regularly (once a month) or be honest and say I can't remember last time it was done!!!! Actually, just remembered - when I got new fridge about 3 years ago! Oooooooops. Well we hope to get a new kitchen around about March next year so reckon it could just wait until then.

Next question - what about the cooker (mine is free standing)? I do point the hoover nozzle on the floor as there is a gap on both sides of the worktops!

Maybe I should ask Mrs Macawber to come over to Scotland on holiday as she is an absolute wizz at the housework stuff and I would love her to fill my freezer with all her mouthwatering things!

:rotfl: my brother in law has a twin, he's a clean freak too, my other half is the opposite, only thing he cleans is the car.

With the FF I did it 3 weeks ago, bloomin huge thing which takes some shifting, I was moving some cables behind it so did it then. Will be done in 3 weeks when we move, probably more regular after that as it's going in the garage in the new house.

I do however leave enough of a gap behind it to get in with the noo noo nozzle as I am forever dropping things down the back of it, so I vacuum where I can get to when I do the kitchen floor.
One day I might be more organised...........

I remember exactly. It was the twelfth of never. :o
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • Unfortunately I remember exactly too! Just a few weeks ago when it, the washing machine and tumble dryer ALL had to be moved when they fitted the new boiler (for some wiring that had to be done) None had been done for a little while:whistle:  Was a tad embarrassing the amount of dust, and broken bits of glass under them:o :o I vowed then I'd clean them every week. Ooops!!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
  • Probably not as often as I should lol every so often, but i pull the fridge washer ect more to sweep behind, you'd think i would do it at the same time lol.

  • I've done it once since I got it about 3 years ago.

Edit - no twice. I remember because I remembered how easy it was so gave it another go - then haven't even thought of it since. Till now!

  • Shetitasatic - don't ask such a personal, impertinent question! Have you no manners?

PS About two years ago, but mine are integrated - and if you tell my mother my abject confession, I'll have to kill you - that information is highly classified!!!!
