Virgin TV and Sky sports - new flat

Hi All


I am in the process of buying a new place and as its leasehold can only have Virgin media (no sky dish)


I am just wondering what the installation procedure is like how much notice will they need to come and install everything?


Also I am a bit surprised at the cost, the Mix TV package along with a Sky Sports collection addon is coming up to £70pm for 12 months and then £83 pm going forward. This is online, is there any negotiation when you call them up like sky sometimes do or is price fixed?

Give them a call and say you are thinking of joining and see what they say. That's what id do in your position.

Indeed and check what Sky would charge for the same thing. Virgin will not know about the dish restriction - unless you tell them!
