Canada land border visa requirement?

All,

Im looking for some advise/clarification.

Im a British citizen travelling to USA in the summer, I already have an approved ESTA for arrival in Boston.

During the trip I plan to drive accross the land border to Toronto (to catch a flight to Denver - as for travel logistics). Im not clear if I need a Canadian visa? indications would appear not, as the Canadian entry requirements state:

If you’re travelling by land or sea, you won’t need an eTA when you enter Canada. However, you must travel with acceptable travel documents and identification.

I would also like to confirm whether im likely to experience any difficulties re-entering the united states, effectively a day after leaving?

As your statement in red states you don't need an ETA, these are required for arriving in Canada by air.

The US officials may ask questions why you are returning to the States but there is nothing stopping you do that.
