Hello all
Sorry it's a late post from me today.
As the weather was glorious today I decide to tackle the side hedge ( it needed about 2 ft taking off the top ) and as I am so short and would have to use the ladder, DH offered to give me a hand. Actually he did most of the work and I was the "tidyupper". So spent all day out in the sunshine. :j. Probably be unable to move tomorrow though !
Hester hope you have a lovely time on your boat.
TA you'll probably need all next week to get over your weekend :rotfl:
Judi my DH used to stop breathing most nights but thankfully since he lost quite a bit of weight he hasn't done it so often. I too used to lie awake listening ( or give him a shove to start him breathing again )
Tru hugs to you and your Dad
Dumpling hope you are ok after the Drs
Specky you are a lovely Grandson !
Have a good evening everyone. Hugs to allFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Good Evening chums back home after my few days away with the family and we had a great break and the accomodation was really nice. On Wednesday DD and my three DGS went fishing and they all caught something but the best was a 6lb skate which we had pan-fried for dinner that evening. My son-in-law cooked it to perfection and we all enjoyed our extremely fresh fish
:):)
The weather was kind to us and yesterday late afternoon we were at Colwell Bay with the boys crabbing at 6.00.pm and the sea was like a sheet of glass and so peacful there The sun was shining and all you could hear was the occasional seagull, so quiet and my grandson Jack said 'I really love it here, no traffic Granny'
The water was lovely and clean and no pollution any where to be seen.
Only 19 more weeks until we go back for our summer holidays
I'm just having some soup and crackers tonight as after my long drive I think I will leave the shopping until tomorrowHaven't got a lot to buy as I am off on my travels again on the 21st up to Mancland Hope the weather stays dry
I managed to treat myself to a new waterproof jacket whilst on the Island which was reduced in a sale to half price at £29.99 but it is a Regatta one so it will last me for a few years at least and will keep me dry when I am out walking in the dales
Its feet up and relax tonight I also bought some nice wool at a craft shop for my charity blankets in lilac and a pale lemon reduced to £1.00 a ball.
Thoroughly enjoyed my break and feel so much better for it after the long winter
See you tomorrow chums
JackieO xx0
