Morning everyone,
Dry bright and sunny here, bed has been stripped and the WM is doing its thing.
DOH is off to cricket today so am planning to spring clean our bedroom and then hopefully this will kickstart me doing the rest of the house, have been distinctly cba lately and need to rediscover my get up and go!
Hoping all goes well Hester I want to say tight lines but I think that's fishing
Oh that's a bit worrying Judi can imagine why you couldn't sleep.
Thinking of your Dad TRU hope all goes well.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Morning all and happy Friday.
Yesterday evening, as it was the first Thursday of the month, was spend with my gran. Such a special woman to me. When I left after a delicious meal and a good chin wag, I gave her a big hug and told her I loved her, something us men often find difficult to say.
I got home around 9pm and got myself sorted for today and had an early and uninterrupted sleep.
I've been to the gym this morning with no plans set in stone for tonight as of yet. Might go a run or decide to proper chill out in front of the computer.
AoD - "Friday tidy". Don't think I've heard that before and I like it!! I might just change my plans for tonight now.
Hester - Safe travels.
Judi - Did you have some cheese before bed by any chance?0 -
Morning All
Another unsettled day I think, no washing to do this morning. Ironing done, need to make up the bed after Aunt's visit.
Spent yesterday doing absolutely nothing apart from watching TV and eating. I'll walk down to the library later but that's probably about it, still not feeling 100%.
Bon Voyage HH, hope all goes well.
Have a good Friday. Take care. XX0 -

Wash load no.2 on the go and bathroom sparkly.
I've managed to get face cream in my eye, I am so skilled.
Time to do more things.
Speky, I just like the way it rhymes.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Re deep beds.....if possible, strip the turf and put in the bottom of the deep beds upside down with the best of the top soil on top. Try to avoid mixing with the subsoil....which you could dispose of else where in the garden maybe. Top up the deep beds with some compost.0

Hi everyone,
Long time no posting, sorry, but I have been reading along. I have news in that DH secured an 8 month contract this week - he starts on 24th April. It is local and only a half hour commute. It is a relief after 13 months out of work.
HH - happy travels x
tru - thinking of your Dad x
Have a good day all,

Talking about beds, of the sleeping kind though? Have you ever said something without thinking?
I told hubby on the phone this morning about him stopping breathing in the night. "if I snuff it you'll be ok, you can have a party. You will be happy enough" he joked.
I don't think he appreciated my reply "no I won't, I can't afford a new mattress".

Afternoon all. Back from our date with the repairman at the caravan site and now awaiting a phone call telling me the cost of the spare part we need for the water heater!!! Then a fixing date to arrange. DD will be there for about 10 days from Monday so will arrange for after that. She will be able to use the water heater on electric till then. We prefer to "pay as we go" using the gas cylinders as the annual electric charge is frighteningly high enough as it is!
Just enjoying an hour's peace before picking the 3 DGDs up from school and then it will be chaos and mayhem here till DD comes back for them Sunday afternoon. She called in our absence this morning with all their w/e clothes, games, DVD's laptops etc. How long does she think they are here for?!
Take care all. KARCHER (HUGS) COXY good news re DH and the job. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
