You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

which court did you pay the "fine" to?
Err, yes. I'm sure you don't believe the OP has paid anything to a court.

Its in the OP - Indigo.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

So just to add - the fine they are chasing me for, I have already paid- or at least I called up, quoted the reference on the ticket, and paid. They took payment for something else. So at the very least, if both have been rejected, I should be charged the basic £60 per ticket?

Just stop panicking, you have already paid £60 you didn't need to. Stop engaging with them.

  • It was INDIGO.

Its hard not to engage with them though, when you are getting letters from a debt recovery firm, saying that you now owe us £170, please pay this or we will come after you, or words to that effect. I've seen Cant Pay We'll Take it Away on tv recently! Slightly OTT maybe for this offence but you never know, they always seem to escalate these fees so quickly

I already paid a separate one where my permit fell of the windscreen and onto the floor. I appealed this and the response was 'even though you have a permit, you did not display it, and the T&C's state it must be displayed at all times' or words to that effect again. So really what chance did I have on this one?

the debt collection company cannot do ANYTHING , they do not own the dett , all they can do is send the paperwork back to indigo , indigo cannot do anything

!: the contract with the train comnpsny is signed by a different indigo company
2: this land will come under bylaws , therefore non relivent for private parking
3: only the train co can bring charges , under bylaws and within 6 calender mths

We know, and Can't pay We'll Take it Away is NOTHING to do with this matter! They are bailiffs sent by the High Court after a person has received court papers that they've ignored OR they've lost at a County Court hearing and then refused to pay a debt of over £600.

Your situation is *just* letters about a stupid fake PCN, no court, no hearing, no bailiffs. Not even byelaws support this invoice! :)

Oh dear. You paid ANOTHER one, thinking it was real?

You won't be paying it. You have wasted your money in the past.

    100% chance not to pay!

You only have to follow the templates for appeal (first to Indigo, then a more detailed template appeal to POPLA) not saying who was driving. Indigo give up/lose every single time. Search the forum for 'Indigo POPLA' and you will find out you have been throwing money down the drain.
