What tablet, which Android, which browser ? No problems for me on my Lenovo with 6.0 using Firefox or Chrome. Is your Gboard up to date ?

Disabed predictive text and it corrected both the problem in Facebook and Messenger. Hold down square to left of spacebar. Tap on settings and go to Smart Typing and turn off predictive text.

Hi, I think I have the same problem as you: all the words I write, a status or a comment of a discussion, are erased as soon as I press the space bar, in Facebook and Messenger. This problem only occurs on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 tablet, in desktop mode, under Android. The tablet works fine except this bug. I reset it recently, it did not change anything. The bug occurs since the Facebook page automatically switches to mobile version (m.facebook.com). It does not come from the keyboard or intuitive text, I tested all possible configurations, the bug remains. This makes the use of Facebook very complicated.
Have you found a solution to this problem that could help me?

I have the 98% identixal problem:
I post in comment zones on many sites, from Chrome (75) on my Win 7 Pro desktop PC, or from Chrime in my Android 6.0.1 Samsung Note 4.
On the Android I systematically request the Desktop version of the page (top right of page, vertical-3-dots, "Desktop site").
This works on all sites on PC or Android EXCEPTED facebook AND TWITTER, where I have the issue others reported, i.e. space bar erasing previous entry.
This has been so for months and years, as usual impossible to get HUMAN contact with big ones like FB or TW.

I forgot to mention that I am writing from my Note 4 (whence the couple typos, apologies), and that the problem in FB and TW happens ONLY in Android, NOT in Win 7.
