No mid range power in "new" car?

Huh? NA cars aren't lacking in mid range power, it's usually only lower down the bottom scale of the revs. Mid range 3000-4000 revs they should be chucking out a good amount of BHP.Is the 2.4 a normally aspirated engine i.e. no turbo? If so, it'll lack a bit of torque and power mid range.0 -
