Has anyone experience or knowledge of companies that offer to buy run down properties. In particular they offer legal fees etc but how much below market value do they offer.
Any info would be good.

Based on the experiences of people I've spoken to, they will just offer the lowest amount they think they can get away with.
As an example, one company offered a 'fairly reasonable' amount initially - probably to raise the seller's hopes.
Within 24 hours, the offer price dropped dramatically - and they seemed to be warning the seller that they might have to drop the offer again.
Essentially, their goal is to sell properties quickly at bargain basement prices - and keep a big chunk of the sale proceeds themselves.
So you could just tell a regular EA to your property quickly at a bargain basement price - and keep all the sale proceeds yourself (except for perhaps 1.5% for the EA).0 -
Plenty of previous threads here if you look, all with the same general theme!0

Try a DIY For Sale poster in the window and invite offers. You could get free quotations from EAs to give you an idea of what you'd get if sold via them, less their fees.
It's likely to be seen by developers , who buy run down properties, but may not bother about searching EA sites or buying via them.0 -

Wow this question yet again.
Don't do it. Sell through agent at very low price.0 -

I can only reiterate what others have said. You will get a higher sale price selling it traditionally through an EA for a rock bottom price, lower than anything else comparable in the area, that you will through one of these quick sale agents.0
