I'm a Camden council tenant I'm thinking of getting married & staying in my property, would that be a problem as my future husband owns his own house?
Thank you

Why bother getting married?
Or is RTB a factor ?0 -
What are your plans for the house ?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I'm confused - are you the woman who lives in the council house or the man who owns his own property? You seem to be posting as both0

If this situation is real then if they're already talking about what happens if they divorce, before they get married, then its a really sad one.0 -
I'm 50 years old, I've been in a long term relationship that ended badly, my fianc!e has been divorced once. 40% of marriages end in divorce. I'm just being realistic0

How long have you been together then that you are still living in separate properties? Seem to me like you might want to try the living together before deciding to marry. Or it is a case that you've been living with her for some time already but haven't declared it officially?0
