TA....and others with moss and algae particularly on stone and paving..please resist the power washer....it takes off the surface and makes it more porous so the spores get in further and there will be more discolouration.
From my experience...no I am not called Roger..:)....brush off the worse moss and all the loose bits and then use something like P...tioM..gic....which you dilute and water on with a watering can and leave to work.....this kill all the black and green algae and the moss , leaving it all slip free.
No scrubbing or rinsing required...smells ok. Use twice a year or three if very shady and damp.

Back to lurking on the weightloss thread...!

    Afternoon.

I meant to post after I'd started the thread, but couldn't think of anything to say.

I had another 4.30am wake up and am completely shattered. I've had a run of bad nights and it's taking its toll now. Various stresses and problems are weighing heavy on my mind..I was in a shop earlier and, very unlike me, but I nearly burst into tears whilst thinking about things and how I feel powerless to do anything..:o :(

I grind and clench my teeth day and night..again, stress related. my gums are badly receding as a result. Tried a gum shield at night, but they make me feel claustrophobic..silly as that may sound :o

TA so sorry you are going through such a difficult time. My thoughts are with you and MrTA.

Dumpling so pleased your DD is getting some help now.

Redruby i would definitely find a replacement Roger..your current one will probably just continue to let you down as it is a hobby rather than his trade.

Enjoy the rest of the day one and all :)

My Roger is on his way out. It's ex hubby/ friend who is becoming increasingly unreliable. Anyway, am getting the garden paved n landscaped in June. It's gonna take 2.weeks, so will have to take the pooches away somewhere, as Buddy 14, n Bonnie 7 months, just won't cope with all the noise, disruption etc.Am dreading going away on my own, but can't see any other solution. If you have any ideas let me know, as there's no way i'm putting them in kennels :(
TA I thought you were having an extremely early sunbathe then! Forgot about the new furniture:rotfl:
    HESTER, i'm also a teeth grinder :(
Anyway, best get myself in gear, as i'm off out for a curry tonight. Can't wait :-D

If you were near me, and I didn't already have a booking for June immediately after our own holiday, I'd have been glad to have them, Candygirl.

Mr LW and I have to be our own Roger; I'd love to have the garden done for me, but I'm so paranoid about having workmen of any sort on the premises that I wouldn't cope with it. I don't even use a professional window cleaner, we do it ourselves as best we can.

    Hello all.
Hester and Snoozer - I too am a teeth grinder/ clencher, but after a few hospital appointments it turned out to be TMJD ( Temporomandibluar Joint disorder ). Apparently, according to the consultant, it is most noticeable in women, because we seem to talk and worry more than men:eek:. I too was given night mouth guards but they only made me retch, so I was advised to take pain killers at the first sign and my dentist will prescribe Vallium if it gets unbearable.
We visited a caravanning / camping shop this morning for some items and then popped next door to the garden centre for a coffee. This afternoon was spent dying my hair, so now I look more like me and less like Brock the Badger :rotfl:.
It's turned out to be a beautiful evening after a cloudy day here and it is rumoured to be a settled week weather wise ( fingers crossed ! )
    Have a good evening all

I also hate having workmen round, n i'd happily bring the pooches to you if we lived nearer xx
