Hi, I'm new to forums so bare with me

Then your clear agreement to not hijack other peoples threads should be very fresh in your mind.

Get yourself to the Newbies Sticky, then start your own thread if needed!

I'm going to stick my neck out here again and say that ignoring is still a valid method.

For example, if you appeal to an IPC company they will say anything to get you to pay and when you appeal to IAS (Gladstones in all but name) they will reject it and then put you in the pile for a court claim.

After all when you appeal you usually give away the driver, the location and some form of mitigation which can't be used.

If you don't know how to appeal, ignoring is the least worst choice.

Best choice is to go straight to whoever hired the PPC and get them to sort it. And keep on until they do.

I agree, sort of ... for people who would never come to this forum anyway.

For those that DO come here first then following the NEWBIES guide and doing the 1st appeal is the way to go, even for IPC companies.

    :)
  • PCN received in Dec 2016, I ignored it and did not appeal. I have received a letter from ZZPS suggesting I pay citing Parking eye v Beavis and if I do not get in touch they will pass to their solicitors Wright Hassall LLP.
As I did not appeal or contact them I am not sure what to do now as all the newbie advice seems to be following that course of action, or detailing other types of scenarios.

    Can you help ?

First off, you'll get better responses by starting your own thread.
Second, read the Newbies sticky thread, it'll tell you all you need to know.
Third, unless you're in Scotland, the advice about ignoring these fake "fines" has been out of date since about 2012.
