BW Legal First Letter

Hi all


I have received the first letter from BW legal asking for £160 for stopping for less than a minute at Liverpool airport in December 2016.


I appealed and lost (as I knew the case would be).


Interestingly BW legal are saying that I didn't appeal within 28 days of the PCN charge. I did and still have the email.


What am I likely to receive from these people in the future as I have no intention of paying?


I have looked around on the forum for hours and am finding it hard as to what to do next. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

You don't do anything next! Nothing you can do (other than send a cheque) will stop them hassling you - with letters. When you get letters you respond robustly and deny you owe VCS/BWL anything. That's it.

No one, despite thousands of tickets at LJLA, has been taken to court for this location. Let us know if you're their first court case here.

Over on PePiPoo there is a pledged fighting fund to provide expert legal help for the first airport case - not one single airport case across the whole country has gone to court. You have to surmise that the PPCs don't want any of these going any where near a judge.

Your threads need merging as this is the same matter as on your PCN thread asking about BW Legal.

Honestly, although you may not want to hear it, the best way for you to learn what happens next is not to isolate yourself on a thread asking for a link or single answer, but instead to while away some hours reading other BW Legal threads on here and on pepipoo, because they will file a court claim. You need to be ready and starting to research it in advance.

Don't pay, of course! Nothing to panic about but get reading...call it homework!

Sorry Coupon I am new to this and posting on a forum etc. I have never received any letters in my life from solicitors threatening me with court action and to be honest I feel a bit uneasy about it all.

These are not solicitors who you or I would understand.

These so called legals are incompetent, they lose in court because they struggle to put a sentence together, let alone a good case

The courts are very well aware of the incompetence of BWLegal

My solicitor would not get out of bed for the pittance BWLegal try to claim for.

Proving that BWLegal are at the bottom of the pile who attract the scammers industry only

Nope, they haven't that I know of.

Found a person with a different case to mine but same corrupt company involved and same legal team.


Just an heads up his case started in 2011 and only contacted this person last year.
