    Welcome, Tommy Trinder. :)

Can you manage to stop some of the awful advice on the 'fight parking tickets' (or whatever it's called) Facebook pages or is it an impossible battle? People writing rubbish about set asides and getting it wrong (e.g. talking about Stat Declarations) are not helping!

Agree with this 100%. I posted on the Facebook page for a while - before my second hearing when i was keeping a low profile on the forums.

I was eventually blocked by one of the admins who thought he knew a lot more than he really did. I was advising someone with advice lifted directly from the BMPA website which he disagreed with.

Tom was one of the few that actually offered really good advice to people. I know Barry Beavis posts on there too

I think it's important to have a strong Facebook group as part of the fightback community as lots of people would look there before they'd find forums like this and Pepipoo.

The "statutory declaration" nonsense that keeps getting mentioned on there makes me cringe. Hopefully Tom and some of the other more knowledgeable posters can work to eliminate silly comments like this and improve the overall standard of advice

    !!!!!!!
Perhaps if the private sector is regulated it will bring clarity thus ensuring that parking charges and the way in which they are enforced are fair and reasonable[/I]

I wonder if this is why our parasite PPC went on a ticketing spree at work this morning - I've never seen so many tickets issued in one-go and its especially noticable because so many folk are off on holiday just now so the car parks are mostly half-empty.

My colleagues and I have been very busy spreading the word to as many affected people as possible. :)

If you're concerned about the content on Fight Your Private Parking Invoice on Facebook, some of the stuff on Parking Tickets my A***, on the same platform will make your eyes water.
I just feel sorry for the folks who happen upon that group first. :o

e.g.I wonder if anyone could give me some advice, in February I received two "notice to keeper" documents from a company called ZZPS Ltd asking me to pay £70 for each , I sent them the letter that Chrisy Morris showed in one of his latest videos asking for £10 to give them the drivers details and any further communication would be charged £80 they have replied to my letter (pictured) I'm just wondering what step to take next thanks

As you might imagine said company declined to come up with the tenner.

I occasionally post on PTmy @rse, and I too am horrified by some of the advice given. Ignore it, write denied and send it back, etcetera. Then there is the FOTL bolleaux. *shakes head*
I'm also shocked by the number of people who post in their real name then show the unredacted PCN. All it takes is a PPC scammer stooge to do a lousy appeal in the motorist's real name, or just make a note of the name where the driver is revealed.
Some people really don't know how to help themselves. It's sites like PT my @rse that keeps the scammers in business.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

all action on this appears to have gone quite, with any offered/suggestions for help being ignored, as its much easier for some unknown person to have a rant. I would from this that Carly is happy to play the victim card.

There is a parallel thread on pepipoo about this, which has reached similar conclusions and come up with similar ideas http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=112848

Could it be that the PPC has agreed to accept a lot less on condition that she keeps stum. After all, there is little point in getting nothing if she declares herself bankrupt.

Miss Mackie’s mother had indicated the 28-year-old may now continue her fight and take her case to the Sheriff Appeals Court.

Given that you only get 28 days and the judgement was January ......

We all wish her luck. She is better of going bankrupt

But, as the scottish lawyer confirms, the PPC's still need to know who was driving so unless others make it a habit of collecting tickets galore, it's business as usual in Scotland
