I just checked 3 different Fiesta Studios, from an 09 up to a 15 reg, plates obtained from Auto Trader, on the etis site linked in Inner Zones post. They all show "Less Door Entry Remote Control Unit" and are therefore not capable of having remote entry.

Although ETIS isn't infallible. My partner's Mondeo is listed by them as:

    With anti-spin traction system
    Less anti-spin traction system
    (it doesn't have traction control)

    With column stalk radio controls
    Less column stalk radio controls
(it does have column audio controls)

    Less fuel computer
(it does have fuel computer - built in to the dash so unlikely to be aftermarket)

With driver 2 way power seat adjuster
With driver 8 way power seat adjuster
(it doesn't have power seats - again everything appears original)

It doesn't mention remote locking at all, but that could be cos it only works on 3 doors :D

That shows 2002-2008, my car is a 61 Plate as I have advised. Can anyone tell me how I can actually check? My boyfriend had an 04 Ford Fiesta which had remote locking, I'm not saying it's a standard feature, but it would be odd for a car that's only 5.5 years old to not have it

    Easy......

Get in the car when the engine is running, lock the drivers door manually, if locking the drivers door causes the other doors to automatically lock, then you have central locking.

I am unable to lock just the drivers door manually. By the stereo in the centre of the car, I have a lock/unlock button that will operate all doors but it is only a 3dr

It has central locking but not remote entry. Is it possible to pay for it?

Yes, I fitted a remote central locking kit bought off eBay for less than £10 to my daughter's Fiat Punto about 4 years ago and it's still working fine.

I didn't find it particularly difficult but car accessory workshop type places will no doubt also fit them but will probably charge £50-£100.

The link to etis was defaulted to the US section, which doesn't allow reg no.searches, change this on preferences/UK and you will be able to check what equipment your Ford left the factory with.

Click the link they put and simply select the VEHICLE tab.. sorted.

Central locking yes, But that wont tell them if they have the remote central locking receiver.

Sorted if you have the VIN number but no option to search by reg. no. as the link is set to USA. From the link, click preferences then change US to UK and update, then a reg no search appears, under the vehicle tab too, a lot easier to enter than a VIN in my opinion.

That must be your PC then because it clearly says registration lookup here.
