Broadband package includes weekends and evenings free calls plus mobile x amount of mobile minutes in package. My question if I use WhatsApp for texting or other free package on smartphone over wifi will that be included in minutes in broadband package for weekend and evening calls with the broadband provider.

Whatsapp uses your internet connection for data transfer so it'll come off that when using WiFi or if using without WiFi on, your mobile allowance. It doesn't use voice or text allowance no matter how you use it. Obviously using any other app will depend on the app.0

Was saying on another thread, no need for weekend calls or daytime or anytime, if you use a number even for incoming you become dependent on them.
I use Whatsapp, Mobile and VoIP.
I can't wait for the mobile companies to get their act together so this concept of line rental is scrapped.
You need to wait for the best deal, use Mifi or share a neighbours wifi till the right deal comes along.
Sky did their £64 per annum deal last month, they will likely offer the £100 deal per annum deal next, may be 2 months away.
Thanks for reply.
Got the package with weekends and evnings calls, concern I should not have taken the calls part as I will be charged for date used over wifi when using WhatApps during daytime. Also a problem when my grandchildre spends time with me they will need to use it for their smart phones during daytime.
I can use voice over on WhatApps but that will also account that will add to my package during daytime. :T0 -
If your broadband is unlimited, then no need to worry.0
