Selling Main Residence whilst living abroad

Hi All,
Just looking for some advice regarding selling my main residence whilst living abroad, mainly if I would pay any capital gains. I am currently living in Germany and rent out my main residence in the UK.
I am toying with the idea of selling but I don't know if capital gains applies. Does anyone know if it would?
Thanks muchly :money:

If you are living abroad in Germany then your main residence is where you live, in Germany (obvs...)
CGT will apply to rented property, but amount depends on many factors including what it was worth when you acquired it, how much it is worth when you sell it, for what periods you rent it plus various CGT allowances. Clearly you will be easily able to prove to HMRC when you have been renting it out as you will have been declaring all the rent to HMRC for tax.
Does google not operate in germany??

etc etc etc etc...
Cheers!
Can you give us a clue as to amounts, dates you lived their, dates rented, please?0 -
So you live in Germany?
Your property here in the UK is let out?
It's clearly not your main residence.
Yes, CGT will apply.0
