Hi All....OMG am I glad to be back with you......have been having withdrawal symptoms all weekend! I'm so SAD!

Anyway, I have, yet again, gone over budget for the month, but this time only by a very teeny weeny little bit - so that's progress I guess!

Still, I will not be beaten!!!!!

Off to join November's challenge. See you there!

Well managed to come in under budget by just 82p! But every little bit helps. I have really enjoyed the challenge and missed the updates over the weekend. Well done everyone - especially the newbies. Off to join November...!

Well.... I still have one week in here before starting the November challenge.
Is anyone else still here ???

Bit of a bizarre month for me... and I have one week left.........
So far I have gone over budget by £49... for food, cleaning material and toiletries. I really thought this would be no problem for me to stay in budget.

And my fuel budget was also £120 for the 4 weeks... and I have only spent £78. And I have just filled up the car, so wont need any diesal this week. I really thought I would stuggle with this.

So for the shopping part of my challenge I am over £49, and for the fuel part, I am under £42. So overall... so far I am over £7.
Just think its a bit weird... as my expectations are well out of reality:o
See you all in the November Challenge... when I get there
  • Hi, I'm still here, my month goes from 1st to 1st, so I shall be off to Novembers tomorrow. This is my first month, & of course I jumped straight in thinking that I always carried a rough tally of how much I spent each month. Oh how wrong can you be!!!!!
I have kept all my receipts & paid on my debit card for everything, done meal planners etc & didn't really focus on how much we ate, drank, wasted......, so a hopelessly unrealistic budget that I set at the beginning of the month has been blown totally away. BUT, I now am in a position to see where exactly I can cut down & what changes I can make, so that has to be a good thing, yes?
I shall post up my final totals tonight & venture into November with a more realistic picture of where my money goes & hopefully be able to spend a little less of it

    Love Suzi xxxx

September was £251.43 and October was 227.74!! So I saved £23.69 :j :j and I've still got quite a bit in the cupboards, nothing in the fridge though!
Going to try and cut it down to £200 this month
