Hello to all. Serial lurker here!
I'll be joining next months challenge as of tomorrow (OH payday!) After reading Octobers thread i'm very inspired.
Finding it difficult to balance the books at the moment and it's getting me down. I start off with the best intentions but always end up robbing Peter to pay Paul, (not literally though as I don't know anyone called Peter!).
My wages don't quite cover the bills; he gets paid monthy, i'm four weekly so i always have to borrow some to cover the bills. Trouble is we then overspend and i'm always behind.
So this month we'll rise to the challenge and look at it as a new start.
£300 budget.
Meat from butchers, Veg from grocers and then other stuff from the either Aldi or Tesco.
I think the problem is meaning well but not being properly organised and doing the 'damn, forgot to get the xxxxxx from the freezer, we'll have to pop to Tesco and get something and then ending up wandering into the booze aisle for a four back / bottle of wine! so we'll se how it goes
Oh god, i've just had a sign from above, quite literally. Pink Floyd playing Money on Planet Rock on the radio in the spare room!!!!!!
Thanks to all, and good luck for next month:)Needs must when the devil vomits in your kettle..........0 -

Kaleoma, it you look in the narrow green bar towards the top of the screen, there are some options there....Main site, Forum, FAQ etc...one of them is "User CP". click on that and you will get access to your preferences screen. On the left of that screen is another menu, choose the "update signature" option and away you go!

Hi all,
Visited a new book shop and health food shop today...bookshop have ordered books they hadn't got...for collection to-morrow...bought some organic yogurt, brazil nuts, yogurt, small butternut squash and old fashioned candied peel....came out €10.27 poorer. Still hoping to make it to 31st with just over €40 in kitty.
