The Probate office said the mutual wills are the correct wills, but the new executor of the new will has everything with a solicitor and they are saying they are going with the new will, so I cannot apply for probate in this instance I have to prove the new will invalid even though probate say it is has to be done with a solicitor.
As per one solicitor it is like a game of chess.
Just money for solicitors really
Very expensive business but I am going ahead with it
Wish me luck
Thank you
Any advice welcome0 -
who is executor in the mutual will?
why are they not dealing with this or standing down so you can submit that one.0 -
The executor of the new will is a so -called friend but she stands to benefit 50% as she is the secretary of a certain charity
As a solicitor I spoke to said it is a game of chess, she doesent think I will contest it due to the cost, but I am going a head anyway.
They have advised me that they do not need probate, so I am tying up with a solicitor next week
keep your fingers crossed, need all the luck I can get at £200 per letter
Thanks for your input
