VALM - I can only imagine the carnage if I asked Mr Dolly to colour my hair :rotfl:.
I have a uu
Philosophy Microdelivery Face Wash - this was a full size (almost 250ml) and lasted forever, it is very good but expensive so WNBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
Fashion on the Ration 28/660 -
The Burt's Bees pear and coconut lip balm arrived. About to brave the howling winds to go out, I shall apply some of my open stick of this. Brr!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

I've been a bit bad. I made an order for some items from CocoonCenter. It was only four items though, and one of them was a free gift with one item. So I'll have a few INs to report when they arrive. I haven't done too bad this month, I have bought anything toiletry wise this month of than these, and the few INs I had at the beginning of the month.0

Finally used the last of mini toothpastes0

So my next roulette category is "Something you've never used before ". This was a tough one because a lot of items I have are repeat purchases. Some items that are new to me are not ready to be used as replacements either. So I have opened a sample sachet of Clarins Journal Multi Active cream. Feels lovely and there's enough for tomorrow too.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

One TA- a lip balm from Superdrug (it has no brand on the tin so I assume it is their own brand). It worked fine for a week, but now I have started having a reaction to it and now looked like I have been punched in the mouth. Nice!mcculloch29 wrote: »Reviewed the Burt's Bees Gift Set.
One thing that I didn't mention in the review is that the set is £19, for a small-ish body lotion, a med sized foot lotion and a lip balm I don't think that's particularly good value.
Some of the reviews are just a few lines. Tsk. If you can't give a product a proper review why request it?
Am@zon combined the reviews of the different flavoured lip balms meaning I don't have to review the pear and coconut one when it arrives.
The few line reviews are usually from people who are requesting items to sell them so aren't able to properly review them. There is also a big problem with Vine in that honest reviews get the least thumbs up, especially with the toiletries. I have given several of the toiletries I have reviewed detailed reviews and 4 stars and my reviews have hardly any positive votes. The 5 star one line "Lovely item, would make a great gift" reviews have lots of positive votes. In one of my reviews for a product that was for sensitive skin I pointed out it contained two well-known trigger ingredient that should not be in a sensitive skin product. None of the other reviewers mentioned this and mine was the review at the bottom of the pile. This issue gets discussed on the Vine forums a lot, but there doesn't seem to be anything anyone can do about it.0 -
UU my Dove conditioner, meant to seek out some more Dove in town but forgot! Keep seeing links for various toiletry related bargains, opening them up and then thinking I dont need it and close it down. I hardly brought any in Christmas sales either, perhaps I'm properly cure dthis time:TDebt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Hi everyone,
How is everyone's week going?
I have a handful of small UUs:
Lush Sakura bath bomb - WMBA hadn't used one of these in years was nice and refreshing. Followed it with Wicky massage bar and feel invigorated.
Sample of Skin Owl facial steam - WNB gorgeous and very relaxing, made me want to steam my face more often but rather than spending money on this I've bought some bits from neals yard to make my own concoction.
Sample of Sunday Riley C.E.O - WNB lovely, very lovely, but not £60 lovely!0 -
Another UU:
John masters scalp shampoo. WBA. Looks and smells quite medical but really good for cleaning hair and getting an extra day between washes. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
I have just ordered the ABC TSV on QVC (wow went a little acronym crazy there!). It's really good value as the price of the kit is the price of the 1L bottle alone. Have ordered it on Auto Delivery too so I get another in 60 days at the same price. My. Current bottle stopped pumping last night and it is now standing upside down so won't last much longer.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
