cancelling sky still in contract (just)

I want to cancel sky tv and bb because of cost , but was told i still have 2 months left of currant contract (64 days according to sky) and a termination fee would be payable , , as i have to give a months notice ,
I did ask if i had 29 days or less left could i cancel without penalty to the sky call centre advisor said i couldn't cancel until the contracted had ended anyway

anyone got any advise on this pls

    you have to see out the contract , you can give 30 days notice 30 days before your contract ends

    You can cancel (30/31 days' notice) so you leave immediately your minimum term ends, but if you actually leave before that date, they are permitted to apply a charge.
