As per my post above, don't you have a 'feel' for how much you'll be asked to pay without a calculator?knightstyle wrote: »Thanks all, Yes using a calculator I see the final amount is correct. BUT how do you work out the other sums on the receipt?
People on here say the 15% discount is £4.65 but the receipt shows it as £6.89, I feel these things are done to mislead, confuse us customers who do not have a calculator with us when shopping!0 -

The numbers seem strange because it seems the CCC Club discount comes off before the BOGOF discount.
So the total amount of all the clothes without any discount is £45.97 so 15% of that is £6.89. So £6.89 is the discount you will get from the CCC Club offer.
The first two items are BOGOF so that means you get the £14.99 item for free.
But you have already gotten a 15% discount on the free item so that makes the top worth £12.75. Which is why it says "Promotion Saving BOGOF £12.75" at the bottom.
The BOGOF promotion requires two items to be bought so if you proportionally split the £12.75 between the two items you get £7.97 off the top item and £4.78 off the second item as stated on each item where it says "Reward Savings". (These two number also correctly equal £12.75 when added together).
So after all that calculation it gives you the total of £26.33 to pay which as you know is 100% correct.
So its not misleading it's just that they take off the 15% first before applying the BOGOF offer.0
