I like dogs. I have one. If it came to the point that my family would be homeless because of the dog, the dog would have to be re-homed. It seems that the OP has got to that point.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

With regards to heating, i often wear extra clothing, bedding duvet on the sofa - no heating required for evenings.
  • If the landlord is lovely, perhaps consider discussing it with them?
  • After the link with this posters "wedding abroad" thread of yesterday popped up i've read through some of their previous threads and posts. This is either a jackanory story, or there are multiple posters using this id/login or they've had the craziest times imaginable in recent years. From sackings to suspensions to redundancy to homelessness, shared ownership housing, council housing and enquiring about how much male escorts make. I know life can (and does) throw curved balls at us all from time to time, but given the silence from the OP I'm becoming rather sceptical about this whole situation and story.

I see what you mean. He posted a couple of threads back in early 2012, and in one he said he was 23, then in the other one, posted about 3 weeks later, he said he was 27.

I wondered that, but the individual stories seem a bit tame.

If you are not going to be able to pay your rent 1st April then let your landlord know now. Not paying the rent is bad, not giving your landlord the heads up is worse.

At least pay some of the rent.
