Didn't the decision letter set out how much was being refunded, how much was being set off and how much was then left outstanding on the card?

Did Lowell say why they didn't bother chasing the debt before the bankruptcy? £50k costs just to make someone bankrupt for one credit card debt sounds way ott.

So I'm thinking he was probably already in default with his card before he recieved this redress? Yes or no?

I asked above if the debt had already been sold on and you said no. Which is it?

If it had already been sold on then you owed money to Lowells, not Barclays. Did Barclays say they would recall debts sold to third parties and pay them off?

If they mean facts that you are stating, "your" is correct. "You're" is a shortened version of "you are" e.g. "you're using the wrong form of your"

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • No neither, it was ott, they take as much as you have, that amount was his share of the family home
  • Yes he was self employed with little work on, he them tried to claim on his ppi which was to cover this and he had paid alot for every month for 10 years which is when he was told he was mis-sold this policy and it never covered him as he was self employed amd he needed to claim it back 11 months before they paid out. It is a joke.
