Can I prevent someone from transferring money into my bank account?

    You could say you will report her to the police for theft unless she a. gives you what is remaining of your stuff and b. pays you the difference between what she has already transferred and the true value

    The police can't care less. They will tell you it's a civil matter, not a crime - and they will be right.
  • They are my items, things I've left at her house over the years for convenience sake. Agree don't think the police would be interested, now if I was driving at 45mph on a dual carriageway bypass with a 40mph limit - armed response unit up my chuff in no time.

    Ironically I have her sons PS4 which he lent me but I am returning it to him at his place of work so I don't have to see her, I wouldn't dream of selling it in a tit for tat reprisal.You've reminded me of something I hadn't considered, the actual value of the goods is really not that much even though to me they have worth, gonna write them off, ignore her baiting Facebook posts and move on. Thanks to all who have replied.
