Oven Gone Wrong

The CPC/earth isn't switched, so that could well have tripped and RCD when looking around at the wiring.0

Just to finish this off, yes it was the switch.
Got a new one today, fitted and oven works fine now.
Although the fan at the back doesn't want to turn anymore but I can live with that for now.0 -
The fan should be cheap enough to replace, and I'd definitely do so sooner rather than later. The oven will be designed to function with such, and I suppose it's possible that it could end up hot-spotting and fail again.0

The broken fan is an issue - the oven will not function as intended and may overheat and develop new problems.0
