    Happy payday!

All bills paid, hurrah! I've also still managed to make some overpayments
    :T

    £1.43 to mortgage
    £10.00 to savings
    £10.00 to savings
    £3.55 to joint od.

    Another parcel gone too :D

Yesterday I sold 39 DVDs to a buying site. Will get them posted today. I've still got more to go but they weren't being accepted and I didn't have enough to get to the minimum payment on another site. I'll try again another time.

I'm ok thanks jwil. plodding on slowly with debt busting, but still trying to have a life as conscious babies are growing up fast and will be adults in no time and flying the nest.

Glad all is ok. I'm trying to make sure we do more for the children at the moment as well, I don't want to waste their whole childhoods by selling stuff at car boot sales every weekend!

I've got a week off now :T So hoping to relax a bit (I'm really run down) but also tackle the house.

I went to the docs on Monday due to a persistent cough and got sent for a chest xray. I've been called back next week after I finish the antibiotics, so although I freaked out a bit, I don't think it's actually anything too serious otherwise they'd have called me back sooner.

Little jwil has had a settling in session at school and has a couple more next week, hence the time off.

It's lovely and sunny here today so all beds are stripped and going out. Hoping to avoid the predicted thunderstorms!

Well done with your clothes bargains. :)
Well done with the pads too. :j

quick question: when you make your overpayments on the mortgage,
do you pay each amount off each day? 0r do you save it up and pay it off in a lump sum please?
I'm in a quandary as to which way to do it. On the one hand, making a payment each day will save interest in the long run, but my statement with be huge reams of paper. Do mortgage companies have a minimum amount they will accept as an overpayment?

I'm not sure the clothes were such a bargain :rotfl: I'm sending the trousers and trainers back as I'm not keen. The top was lovely and the undies are so much nicer than supermarket ones, so although they weren't a bargain they spark joy!

I pay my mortgage off each day. I'm sure the statement will look awful when it comes! I'm just rounding it down at the moment, but can see the difference already. Last month, the daily round down was £1.43 (interest actually £6.43), this month it's £1.41. So already I'm saving 2p interest a day :D:D

We are on a tracker rate and can make unlimited overpayments. There doesn't appear to be a minimum, I just pay it online, and have paid pennies! I guess it depends on what deal you have.

I've taken the kids to the park this morning before it got too hot. Also stopped to get some milk and veg. Going to potter around a bit now while little miss is having a nap.
